Homecoming 2014 – Written in the Sparks

What better way to display your Sun Devil Spirit Pride and Tradition than participating in this year’s Sun Devil Homecoming: Written in the Sparks! Join us from October 27- November 1 as we celebrate Arizona State University Homecoming with events University wide. From the Homecoming Comedy Show to ASU’s longest standing tradition, Lantern Walk and the Parade, the excitement continues to build throughout the week all leading up to Saturday’s football game against the University of Utah Utes.

Sparky’s Run & Big Top Carnival

ASU West, Las Casas Lawn
Wednesday, Oct. 29 | 4:45 – 9 p.m.
Run check-in begins at 3:45 p.m.
Carnival begins at 6 p.m.
Sparky’s Big Top Carnival will begin at 6 pm on Wednesday, October 29th. Featured attractions include a 5k/10k, carnival rides, live entertainment and much more!

Comedy Show featuring Hannibal Buress with Chris D’Elia

ASU Tempe, Gammage Auditorium
Monday, Oct. 27, 8 p.m., Doors open at 7 p.m.
There is no better way to kick off homecoming week then with a free comedy show! Join us in Gammage as Hannibal Burress and special guest Chris D'Elia will take the stage Monday, October 27. This event is open to all ASU student - tickets are first come, first serve. Ticket distribution will begin at 7 p.m. on the night of the show at Gammage. Tickets are only available to ASU students so be sure to bring your ID!

City of Lights Dance

ASU Downtown Phoenix,
AE England & Civic Space Park
Tuesday, Oct. 28, 7 – 10 p.m.
Come dance the night away at AE England and Civic Space Park for a City of Lights themed dance. The dance starts at 7 pm on Tuesday, October 28th. We encourage students to dress formal!

Devil’s Royale

ASU Polytechnic, Cooley Ballrooms
Thursday, Oct. 30, 7:30 – 10:30 p.m.
The homecoming signature event for the Polytechnic location, Devil’s Royale, a night of casino games with a hint of 007, is taking place at the Cooley Ballrooms on Thursday, October 30, 7:30-10:30pm.

Homecoming Parade, Block Party and Game Day

Saturday, Nov. 1, 4 p.m.
Block Party & Parade start four hours before Kick-off
The 2014 Homecoming parade will begin four hours before kickoff. Come join the thousands of Sun Devils along University Drive on Saturday, November 1st! Parade and Block Party start at 4 p.m. and leading up to Kick-off at 8 p.m.

Any questions pertaining to the ASU Homecoming Parade after 5 p.m. (Friday, October 31) can be directed to the Homecoming Parade Command Post at 480-965-4614.  Parade Command will open at 12 p.m. on Saturday, November 1.

Lantern Walk

Friday, Oct. 31, 8 p.m.
Join us at A-Mountain on Friday, October 31st at 8 pm for one of Arizona State University’s longest standing tradition. Homecoming Royalty will be announced during the event!
